Firecrete Super is a high-grade, 70% alumina conventional dense refractory castable designed for applications requiring high thermal stability and mechanical strength. It is a hydraulic-setting "monolithic" refractory, meaning it is supplied as a dry powder that, when mixed with water, forms a heat-resistant concrete.

Firecrete Super is primarily used in less critical zones of industrial equipment to provide a cost-effective, durable lining.

• Maximum Service Temperature: Up to 1450C.

• Chemical Composition: Contains approximately 70% Alumina ($Al_{2}O_{3}$) and a maximum of 5.5% Iron Oxide ($Fe_{2}O_{3}$).

• Nature of Bond: Hydraulic, allowing it to set like standard cement after the addition of water.

• Physical State: Supplied as a greyish-white dry powder, typically in 25kg or 50kg bags.

• Performance: It offers excellent mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shocks, maintaining its structural integrity under intense heat.

• Common Uses: Ideal for boiler linings (especially in the sugar industry), ovens, baking furnaces, and flue gas or hot air ducts.
