About The Owner

Our company, MittiCool, was started by Mr. Mansukhbhai Prajapati, who is from a potters family of Wankaner, Gujarat. However, due to financial difficulties his parents had to close the pottery business. He was left with no other option than leaving the school and working at a tea stall, which his father had set up due to a lack of money. But it was his determination to use contemporary production methods to transform the pottery industry that propelled him and offered him a beautiful career.

While this family and limited financial resources discouraged him but still he started the MittiCool foundation with a clay tawa manufacturing plant. The real turning point in his life came in 2001 when a devastating earthquake struck his home state, the Bhuj area. Observing the predicament of individuals rushing from one place to another in search of basic essentials like pure drinking water, he came up with the idea for the clay refrigerator.

Our Aim

We work with the aim to create awareness in masses about benefits of using clay products. We believe that with the high demand and usage of our products, this awareness will be created and people will start preferring our offered healthy and cost effective alternate in the long run.
